January 2012
Yay! I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

I am writing to thank you. I remember reading your definition of “santorum”—“the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex”—when it first appeared. I…
I got my Sith Inquisitor/Sorcerer up to level 10! Who’s got two thumbs and a lightsaber? THIS GUY. Is anyone else playing on Rubat Crystal? I’m Tesla if you are…
I also just started a Smuggler, Daburoh (say it out loud and think of James Bond) on Shii-Cho.
EDIT: thought Daburoh would work better as the name of an Imperial Agent, ditched the Smuggler and started over.
Anyway, who are you playing and where?

Anyone have good leveling tips? I am a Nord Barbarian.
Get on your favorite suit of heavy or light armor, pop your difficulty down as much as your conscience will let you, equip your healing spells, and find a wolf or two. Hang out. Heal as necessary. Unless you do a whole lot of tanking and potioning, this really is the easiest way to up your armor skills.
Find something with Waterbreathing or Muffle on it and Disenchant it. Now you can enchant as many trinkets as you like, and because those two enchantments are on/off sort of magic, you can use Petty soul gems and they’ll boost your Enchantment skill just as much as making “real” stuff. Plus, resale value! Also, having a ring of waterbreathing is nice. Not drowning is pretty awesome.
Smithing: Iron daggers (one Iron Ingot, one Leather Strip) and hide/leather bracers (one Leather, one Leather Strip). Make a zillion of those.
Alchemy: Hanging Moss + Bear Claws + Giant’s Toe or Vampire Dust + Luna Moth Wing will give you serious boosts to skill, and while the results aren’t useful, they are very lucrative.
Once you have your crafting skills at 100 and take the relevant perks, you can make some amaaaaaazing gear (make enchanting/smithing potions, enchant gear with alchemy/smithing boosts, and let everything snowball until your shiny new daggers can do 150+ damage).
Other than that, honestly, have fun, do what you want to do, and the levels will come!
