Here’s a collection of artwork that was inspired by the films of John Hughes. These were created for an art show at Gallery 1988 in Venice CA called ”The Road To Shermer, a tribute to John Hughes”. The collection includes art inspired by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Home Alone and Plaines Trains & Automobiles…to name just a few.

I just wanted to make a slight correction to this post. Sixteen Candles is not represented in this work. All the images are of Andie and Duckie. The John Candy image is a reference to Uncle Buck (thus the drill he’s holding) and that’s Chevy Chase’s  character Clark Griswold from Vacation (thus the moose hat referencing Wally World.)
